how to clean a bathroom ?

How do I clean toilet bowl inside and out side? How do I clean a porcelain bathroom sink ? And how do I clean edges around sink faucet that has water stain ? I would like to do it as GREEN (holistic / healthy) way as possible, yet affective as nasty Chemicals. Please give me in detail what products to use for cleaning, how often, etc, etc. I normally clean once a week with breach, microfiber cloth, sponge, vinegar, but just does not seems to get cleaned as I have dust on the mirror top, edges on the bottom base board, water streak ... Thanks.

I use vinegar and water - which you use too... I find that works well. If there is caked on stuff though, making a paste out of baking soda works really, really well - it's like comet without the harsh chemicals. I wipe down the sink and stuff about once every 2 or 3 days... and a major clean once a week. The water stain, if it is the lime buildup should come off with straight vinegar. I would use an old rag, douse it with vinegar and let it sit on the affected area for a few hours. Give it a try anyway! Maybe do it one morning before going to work and then see if it's gone when you get back!

For the toilet bowl, I use borax (20 mule brand, which you can buy at the grocers in the laundry detergent area). It apparently has the cleaning power of bleach but is eco-friendly. I use the scrubber wand for inside the toilet bowl.

As for the dust - yup, got that too. I just wipe it up as it comes. There isn't much you can do about that!

If you are getting water streaks - on your walls or base boards, could it be that there is too much moisture build up when you are taking your showers? Keep your showers to 8 minutes max and open a window while having a shower - or turn on the fan (If you've got one). I have an old house that obviously didn't have a shower originally (just a claw foot tub), we don't have a fan to turn on, so we open the window and keep the door slightly ajar when we are showering. The moisture doesn't build up too badly and we don't get streaks anymore.

Hope that helps!
Cheers
