two balls ball a and b are on the surface?
two balls ball a and ball b are placed on a surface above the ground. a small force acts upon ball a and it starts to fall from the surface in the projectile motion, in the same time when the ball A starts falling the surface where the two balls rested is removed and Ball B starts a free fall. which ball would fall first to ground, one with the projectile motion(ball1) or freely falling body and why?
I think you have to be more specific with the force on ball a. is the force excerted down? If force is in direction < 0 degrees, any downward direction, then ball a will hit first. If the force is in direction = 0 degrees ,or parallel to the ground, they will hit at the same time. If Force is in direction > 0 ball b will hit first.
